Description

Oreo Delight is a rich and creamy no-bake dessert featuring layers of crushed Oreo cookies, cream cheese, whipped cream, and chocolate pudding, creating a thick and fluffy treat that cuts cleanly and is perfect for family gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 36 (405g) Oreos (from a 19.1 oz family size package of 48 cookies)
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (113g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz (226g) Cool Whip, thawed

Chocolate Pudding Layer

  • 1 box (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups (473ml) heavy whipping cream (1 pint)

Oreo Whipped Cream

  • 8 oz (226g) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 2 cups (473ml) heavy whipping cream (1 pint)
  • 1/2 cup (56g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 Oreos, crushed

Topping

  • 6 Oreos, crushed

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chill Setup: Place a metal or glass mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer to chill; this helps to whip the cream efficiently.
  2. Make Oreo Crust: Crush 36 Oreos finely. Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until combined thoroughly. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a prepared dish to form an even crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the next layers.
  3. Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: In a chilled mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in 8 oz of thawed Cool Whip gently until well incorporated.
  4. Make Chocolate Pudding Layer: Prepare the chocolate instant pudding according to package instructions using the 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Whip until the pudding is thick and creamy and pour over the Oreo crust layer. Refrigerate to set slightly.
  5. Prepare Oreo Whipped Cream: In the chilled mixing bowl, whip 2 cups heavy cream with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract until medium peaks form. Gently fold in 8 oz Cool Whip and 6 crushed Oreos for texture and flavor.
  6. Assemble the Layers: Spread the cream cheese filling over the pudding layer evenly. Top with the Oreo whipped cream mixture, smoothing the surface.
  7. Add Final Topping: Sprinkle the remaining 6 crushed Oreos evenly on top of the whipped cream layer for garnish.
  8. Chill Dessert: Refrigerate the entire assembled Oreo Delight for at least 4 hours, preferably longer or overnight to let all layers set and flavors meld.
  9. Serve: Cut into 20 servings and enjoy the rich, fluffy, and perfectly layered Oreo Delight dessert.
