- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 cup baby spinach, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Optional Toppings & Serving Items

- Tzatziki sauce
- Crumbled feta cheese
- Sliced onion

Instructions
- Make the burger patties: In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken, red onion, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything thoroughly until well incorporated. Divide the mixture evenly into four portions and form each into a large, flat patty.
- Cook the patties: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Alternatively, these patties can be grilled on medium-high heat for similar results.
- Assemble and Serve: Toast buns if desired. Place the cooked patties on buns or serve on a bed of lettuce. Top with your favorite toppings such as tzatziki, feta, tomato, onion, and avocado. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
- To freeze, let the cooked patties cool completely, then place on a baking sheet to freeze. Transfer to a freezer-safe bag with parchment paper between patties; they can be frozen up to 3 months.
- You can prepare raw patties a day in advance, layer them between parchment paper, and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Pair these burgers with Greek fries or a fresh salad for a complete Mediterranean meal.
