- 8 oz mushrooms, quartered
- 1/3 red pepper, cubed
- 1 1/2 cups medium broccoli florets
- 3 Tbsp garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp ginger, grated

- 2 1/2 Tbsp honey
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp sriracha sauce (or hot sauce)
Optional Garnishes

- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook the Shrimp: In a skillet, heat 1 Tbsp of butter and 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the raw shrimp and sauté for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté Onion: In the same skillet, add another 1 Tbsp of butter and 1 Tbsp of olive oil. Add the finely chopped onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until it becomes tender and translucent.
- Cook Vegetables: Add 2 Tbsp of butter to the skillet along with the broccoli florets, quartered mushrooms, and cubed red pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables reach your desired level of tenderness.
- Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 30 seconds to release their fragrant flavors.
- Make Sauce and Thicken: While the vegetables cook, whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and sriracha sauce in a small bowl. Pour this sauce mixture into the skillet with the vegetables. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables evenly.
- Combine and Reheat Shrimp: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Stir everything together and let the shrimp reheat in the sauce for a minute or two.
- Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for extra flavor and texture. Enjoy your delicious shrimp stir fry!
