Instructions

- Brown the ground beef: Add 1 pound of ground beef to the pot with onions. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the meat starts to brown. Then add the minced garlic and stir well.
- Season the meat: Once the meat is cooked through, sprinkle in 3 tablespoons chili powder, 1 tablespoon cumin, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1.5 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and a pinch of cayenne powder. Stir everything together to evenly coat the mixture with spices.
- Add canned ingredients and liquids: Pour in 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can pinto beans, 1 can kidney beans, 3 tablespoons tomato paste, 2 tablespoons honey, and 2 cups beef broth. Stir until all the ingredients are fully combined.
