Cucumber:
- 1 large European cucumber
Hummus:
- 1/2 cup hummus
Additional:
- black or white sesame seeds
Instructions
- Peel and slice the cucumber: Peel the cucumber, leaving strips of green or peeling all the skin based on preference. Slice into thick slices, about 3/4 – 1 inch thick.
- Prepare the cucumber: If the cucumbers are watery, press down on both sides with a paper towel to absorb excess water.
- Fill a bag with hummus: Place 1/2 cup of hummus into a thick plastic bag.
- Arrange the bites: Cut a corner of the bag and squeeze hummus onto each cucumber slice.
- Finish with sesame seeds: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the hummus before serving.
Notes
- The European Cucumbers that come wrapped in plastic are ideal for this recipe.
- This recipe works well with store-bought or homemade hummus.
