Description

These Crispy Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas are a delightful snack or salad topper that is easy to make and full of flavor. Whether baked in the oven or air-fried, these seasoned chickpeas are a healthy and satisfying treat.

For the Chickpeas:

  • 1 19oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven or Air-Fryer: Preheat your oven to 375F (190C) or air-fryer to 350F (180C).
  2. Prepare Chickpeas: Spread chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet or in the air-fryer basket.
  3. Bake or Air-Fry: Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, or air-fry for 20 minutes, shaking the basket occasionally.
  4. Season Chickpeas: Toss hot chickpeas with olive oil, chili powder, thyme, and salt in a bowl.
  5. Finish Cooking: Spread seasoned chickpeas back onto the baking sheet or in the air-fryer, and continue baking or air-frying until golden and crispy.
  6. Enjoy: Snack on the chickpeas warm or allow them to cool completely.
